Summer Ball 2010

summer ball 2010

We are very pleased to announce the return of the Summer Ball to Cobham, which this year is Las Vegas themed. The summer ball will be held on the 3rd of July at ACS international school.

We will start the evening off at 5pm with a drinks reception in the board rooms. Guests will be transported by coach to the venue for second drinks reception. On site, the main marquee will be set up for a luxurious dining experience. Food will be provided by professional ACS catering service in the form of a 3 course meal. The S.U. bar, with its new wine list, will be providing drinks for the evening until 3am. The menu for the evening is available below:

After dinner there will be a plethora of activities to entertain you. There will be fairground made of Dodgems, Waltzers, Rock-o-Plane Big Wheel and Laser Quest. All of the rides will be open until 4am, with the dodgems open until the very end. In the main tent there will be a Las Vegas casino with a wheel of fortune, roulette wheel and blackjack tables, all with Croupiers.

For those of you that want to dance, there will be loads of live bands playing late in to the night. There will also be a DJ keeping you up until the very end. There will also be entertainers in the Las Vegas theme for various performances throughout the night. Further detail of the line-up will be released shortly.

If you get the ‘midnight munchies’ throughout the night, hot food will be available from the ACS Night CafĂ©. Coaches will be taking people back to Tooting from 12AM onwards however, the party continues until 6 AM. For those of you who make it to the end, the survivors’ photo will be taken and you shall go down in St. George’s history!

Tickets are available from the Students’ Union from 9 AM Monday 10th May. For the first week only, tickets will be £55 instead of the normal price of £65. Payment can be via cash or cheque. At the time of buying, please inform us of any dietary requirements you have.
